Attorney Patrick Lawrence Gomez, Esq.
Attorney Patrick L. Gomez is a trial-tested criminal defense attorney and former California prosecutor who brings courtroom experience, strategy, and relentless dedication to every case he handles. Having served as a Deputy District Attorney in both Kern and Riverside Counties, Mr. Gomez has prosecuted and tried cases involving everything from misdemeanors to violent felonies — experience he now uses to protect the rights of the accused.

Mr. Gomez is known for his ability to break down complex criminal charges and challenge the system with precision and purpose. He has defended clients facing serious allegations including murder, aggravated mayhem, sex crimes, fraud, elder abuse, drug trafficking, and charges involving destructive devices. Because Mr. Gomez previously worked as a prosecutor, no matter the charge, he approaches each case with the mindset of someone who knows exactly how the other side thinks.

Recognized for his skill and commitment to justice, Mr. Gomez has been named a Top 40 Under 40 Criminal Defense Trial Lawyer two years in a row (2024 and 2025). Mr. Gomez earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marymount California University and studied abroad at Regent’s University London. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Trinity Law School, where he received academic awards and was selected for the Moot Court team. He later earned two Master of Legal Studies degrees — one in Criminal Justice (cum laude), and one in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mr. Gomez has also completed his studies online at Harvard Business School in the field of Entrepreneurship Essentials.
