Patrick L. Gomez began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marymount California University, during which time he expanded his global perspective through studies at Regent’s University London.

Mr. Gomez, then attended Trinity Law School to pursue and earn his Juris Doctor, where his commitment to advocacy was evidenced by his selection for the prestigious Moot Court team and several notable academic honors.

 

Following his legal education, Mr. Gomez achieved two Master of Legal Studies degrees—specializing in Criminal Justice with cum laude honors and Alternative Dispute Resolution—and completed the Entrepreneurship Essentials program through Harvard Business School Online.

 

Moving into professional practice, he served with distinction as a Deputy District Attorney in both Kern and Riverside Counties. His time as a prosecutor involved litigating a vast spectrum of criminal cases, from misdemeanors to complex violent felonies, providing him with the strategic insight required to dismantle modern prosecution tactics.

 

Today, his extensive trial record and legal excellence have been recognized with the Top 40 Under 40 Criminal Defense Trial Lawyer award for 2024 and 2025, as well as the 2025 Rising Star Award from the American Institute of Legal Advocates.

 

Mr. Gomez is licensed to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California, where he provides high-stakes criminal defense characterized by unmatched procedural knowledge and dedication to his clients' rights.

Chantal L. Freim serves as an Associate Attorney at The Law Office of Patrick L. Gomez, APC, providing statewide defense representation for professionals, union members, and individuals facing high-stakes legal challenges.
 

Her journey toward legal advocacy began at Marymount California University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. Following her undergraduate studies, Ms. Freim deepened her understanding of strategic management and organizational operations by completing a Master’s degree in Business with a focus on Small Business Management. These academic foundations in business provide her with a unique perspective on the operational and strategic needs of her clients.

 

Ms. Freim pursued her Juris Doctor at Trinity Law School. Her legal training was marked by significant practical experience, including a 2017 internship for the honorable late Judge Victor Chavez and a 2021 judicial internship for Commissioner Brugera. These roles offered her early, behind-the-scenes exposure to judicial decision-making and trial court proceedings. In 2023, she expanded her criminal law expertise as a legal intern with the Alternate Public Defender at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, where she worked and refined her courtroom advocacy skills.

 

Throughout her legal education, Ms. Freim was recognized for her academic excellence, earning the top grade in both Civil Procedure and Criminal Procedure. These prestigious awards highlight her mastery of the complex procedural frameworks that govern the California legal system.

 

Additionally, Ms. Freim is a certified California mediator, qualified to resolve disputes through both remote and in-person platforms. Today, she applies her rigorous academic background, judicially informed perspective, and mediation skills to deliver defense strategies grounded in procedural precision and dedicated client advocacy across all California jurisdictions.
